Honest statement this:

"I don't have the answer myself, as a man: I can't say how much PRE=PAID discomfort (which I can't honestly put a value to) I'll be ready to undergo to salvage the potential represented by a fetus."

Childbirth is so painful. Took me years to decide to have another child after I gave birth to my first daughter, it was so bad for me. I was 19. I had no prenatal care. And I have bipolar disorder. I probably should never have had children. But I did. And I am glad for it now. I had a caesarean giving birth to middle daughter in my 40s. All I can do is sit here and shake my head. It's intrinsically a part of the very definition of Liberty: you cannot be endowed with the Right to Liberty, if you cannot revoke consent to incubating a fetus (this language should identify who I am to you, Plum :-))

"Anyone who performs an action on my life/body to resolve their own desire or discomfort, without request or consent from me, is a rapist. Far from it.

I don't have the answer myself, as a man: I can't say how much PRE=PAID discomfort (which I can't honestly put a value to) I'll be ready to undergo to salvage the potential represented by a fetus.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4187082534648487114.post-68493837364184258512012-09-05T07:41:52.870-04:002012-09-05T07:41:52.870-04:00Love that motto. And I have noticed in countries where abortion is legal and sex education is the norm (Sweden, Netherlands) they have the lowest abortion/unwanted pregnancy rate, and the highest quality of life for women and children. How did the US, the freest and richest country in the world, get so screwed up on these issues?

See you on Topix! GGAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
